I've been following this movement, observing how many groups are forming, tackling the logistics etc. Just for me, it seems an overwhelming approach to such a simple proposal: using ones camera to provide some joy for someone in need of it on December 12 and encouraging other photographers to participate likewise. Isn't a pack of lone wolves just as effective as a cluster of social groups? I challenge you my Aminus3 fellows...on this one day...to use your camera to spread a little joy.
Thanks for posting this - looks like a nice contribution and concept
For those who want to use their cameras for joy and good - go to the website and find a group near where you live and go out and shoot on Dec 12 http://community.help-portrait.com/groups
Jerry - I hear ya on your observations... we all have the capacity to spread a little joy and happiness every day wherever we may roam. Although I suppose dedicating a full day is meaningful as well in illustrating how people can come together collectively for a cause.
