    People often comment about the glow in my Black & White images. I Expose to the Right with plus EV's, then make a simple edit in Lightroom. Here are the basics, simply twiddle the sliders to achieve the particular effect you require.

    1. Develop > Basic > move the Recovery slider substantially to the right.
    2. Develop > Tone Curve > move the Lights slider substantially to the left.
    3. Develop > Tone Curve > move the Highlights slider substantially to the right to "add the glow".
    4. Develop > Tone Curve > move the Darks slider in small increments to the left to balance the effect.

    Note: Look carefully for mid-tone artifacts! Usually these can be controlled by painting over the troublesome areas with a soft dark[er] Adjustment Brush.
