    We Need Your Help!

One of the greatest assets of Aminus3 is our diverse international membership which represents over 100 countries.

We already have a web page to highlight each country and are in the process of creating a new page template that will provide more information as well as featuring your images more prominently based on where you live.

Our question to each of you is the following...

How would you describe your country to a visiting photographer in 2 or 3 sentences?
Please write your response in English (but also in your native language if you'd like to do that as well).

    ** For Example **
Belgium has many scenic medieval towns and villages as well as some great architecture including traditional Flemish buildings, Gothic Cathedrals and Castles, and stylish Art Nouveau houses. The canals in cities such as Ghent and Bruges make for some excellent imagery. The hills, rivers and forests in the Ardennes and southern regions are a worthwhile venture for nature and landscape photographers.

Isn't an entire country rather vast? I regularly search a members locale if available ie. Lens, France or Palma de Mallorca, Spain gives me some understanding of where this member lives and photographs, so regional information is more valuable to me than country.

Hi Jason, I am going to try and describe Western Australia. Here goes.

Western Australia is a very laid back and friendly place. It offers beautiful sunny days, perfect blue skies, awesome sunsets and is surrounded by unspoilt white sandy beaches. Perth is on the spectacular Swan River with views that are a photographers dream. We have Kings Park, the city, great nightlife, Street cafes and a great Zoo full of great sights. Fremantle is our oldest sea port, with mostly historical buildings and full of arts and craft areas. We also have great wineries and magical forests. The red sand in the outback leads me to the amazing insects, wildlife and great scenery. Lots of exquisite stages for camera lovers.

    Hi Jason,

California has much diversity for photographers. We have big cities(Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego) for those who like architecture and city scapes, We have deserts, mountains and beaches. We have a prolific wildflower season if Mother Nature cooperates and the same goes for fall color. Winter brings rain/snow to us so that we also have the opportunity to capture winter scenes. If you like animal photography, there are many zoos and aquariums, including the famous San Diego Zoo (one of my personal favorites!) and the National Parks offer more opportunities to see more wildlife. Some of our more famous National Parks include: Yosemite, Sequoia, Death Valley, and Redwoods. Each park brings a diversity of subjects to photograph.

    Hi Jason,

I'm currently living in Italy, so I'll talk about that:

Italy is incredible, it has everything a photographer could ask for - architecture, history, museums, hidden nature, national parks and people, lots of people! Italy has plains, mountains and is surrounded by the sea. A photographer's dream come true!

Boerne Texas in in south, central Texas and is referred to as "Hill Country". We have plenty of wildlife, including deer, birds, ducks to mention a few. We have plenty of local caves to explore and photograph as well as lakes and rivers. If you like to photograph nature, this is the place to be.
