    Rejoignez les fondateurs d'Aminus3, Aaron Schmidt et Jason Kravitz, le Samedi 4 Octobre à Paris, France pour le 1er rendez-vous "officiel" d'Aminus3. Au programme, réunion des membres de la communauté et balade dans les rues de Paris à la recherche d'images uniques.

    Où? Pyramide du Louvre, Paris, France
    Quand? Samedi 4 Octobre à 9 heures
    Durée? Quelques heures mais on verra où la journée nous mene

    Pour que vous puissiez nous reconnaitre, voici une photo d'Aaron et de moi-même. Nous attendrons environ 15 minutes pour les membres qui veulent se joindre à nous. Après ca, nous nous mettrons en route. Si vous êtes en retard, il est probable que nous soyons toujours dans les alentours alors cherchez un groupe de photographes!

    Pour info et un peu d'histoire, le premier site Aminus3.com a été développé par Aaron il y a environ 4 ans pendant qu'il vivait en France. Cet Automne, cela fera 2 ans que le site est accessible au public.

    Si vous êtes dans les environs, joignez-vous à nous pour photographier l'incroyable et unique ville de Paris. Pour ceux qui ne pourront malheureusement pas être la, nous passerons peut-être un jour par chez vous qui sait! En attendant, nous vous encouragons à vous réunir ou que vous soyez et partager vos secrets de photographes.

    Come join Aminus3 creators, Aaron Schmidt and Jason Kravitz on our 1st "official" Aminus3 meet-up, on Saturday October 4th in Paris, France. The plan is to get together with fellow Aminus3 members and wander the streets of Paris for an informal photography outing.

    Where? Near the Pyramid at the Louvre, Paris, France
    When? Saturday October 4th at 9am
    How Long? A few hours but we'll see where the day takes us...

    For recognition, here is a photo of Aaron and myself. We will wait 15 minutes or so for people to show up and then start walking. If you're late, we probably won't have gone very far so look around for a group of photographers wandering aimlessly.

    For those interested in some site trivia, the first Aminus3.com website was developed by Aaron while living in Paris over four years ago. This fall marks the two year anniversary since the site was opened to the public.

    So if you're in the area, come out and join us on Saturday to photograph the beautiful city of Paris. For those of you who can't make the trip, hopefully one day we'll come to your town spreading peace and harmony and photos like a hip good humor truck. Until then, we encourage other Aminus3 members to meet up and shoot together.

    Oh ... quel dommage. J'aurais beaucoup aimé vous rencontrer, mais je serai en vacances au Philippines! A la prochaine fois peut-être. Amusez-vous bien!

    What a pity I can't be with you guys on that day! Take lots of great shots and show them to us later. Hopefully, there will be other opportunities in the future.

    Just too far away for me. BTW, I will be on a photo trip to north western part of China then. Hope you guys will have lots of fun.

    Pour info, le 4 octobre il y a la Nuit Blanche que j'ai évoqué dans mon blog sur le calendrier des événements photogéniques parisiens.

    I really would have loved to come and meet the aminus3 members .....but unfortunately I live in Bordeaux which is too far ! I'll be with you in thoughts and be waiting for the pictures !

    thanks all for your support both virtual and in person - we'll try to do this in a few other places in the future as well. We also encourage other members to meet up in your cities and towns and shoot together as well.

    Utilize the Local category in this forum to meet up with other people in your area.

    By the way - for those meeting up, it looks like there is a chance of rain. We will still be there. I may have on a bright green rain jacket :)
    Aaron says he knows of some good interiors to shoot if it gets too bad. We'll figure something out.
